Senior Accountant - Japanese Company

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to support our accounting team in delivering accurate financial reporting and compliance with accounting and tax laws and regulations. This role is essential in overseeing the day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring adherence to accounting principles, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement across the organization.
As the Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for the following tasks:
• Accounting
o Payroll calculation monthly.
o Play key role in monthly payment to suppliers and sub-constructors, conduct bank transactions, bank reconciliation and posting journal entries in a timely manner.
o Reconcile and track general ledger accounts and resolve any resulting discrepancies.
o Support for month-end and year-end closing process and reports of all entities, ensure to meet the deadlines.
• Tax
o Support for tax declaration, tax finalization, VAT refund, tax audit and update tax regulation, provide guideline and recommendation for tax saving, avoid tax risk.
o Support for Transfer pricing reports.
o Correspond with external auditor, tax officers and other agencies upon request.
• Others
o Handle Investment reports and Statistics reports and work with related authorities in order to comply with prevail regulation.
o Ability to flexibly handle multiple tasks arising from the new projects opening.
o Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures to improve processes and compliance.
o Work closely with the Administrative staff.
o Other tasks assigned by supervisor, GA Manager and General Manager.
