Financial Analyst

Position Summary
This role is responsible for delivering financial insights and analytics to support strategic decision-making and drive performance improvement. The Financial Analyst will collaborate closely with the Country Manager and other stakeholders to monitor financial outcomes, evaluate gross margins, and identify opportunities for growth and cost optimization.

Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Analysis & Reporting
- Track and evaluate ongoing financial performance across the business.
- Prepare detailed monthly sales analysis and advise the Country Manager on improvement strategies.
- Analyze gross margin performance by product line and recommend enhancements.
- Develop business cases for new initiatives or operational changes.
- Partner with the Group Finance team for budgeting and quarterly forecasting cycles.
- Support the Regional Finance Manager with ad hoc financial analysis.
2. Commercial Insight
- Conduct variance analysis comparing actual results against budgets and previous periods.
- Proactively identify opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiency.
- Deliver return on investment (ROI) evaluations and margin optimization reports.
- Contribute to special projects and ad hoc assignments.
3. Strategic Business Support
- Assist leaders in business planning, forecasting, and performance reviews.
- Develop robust financial models for short- and long-term business strategies.
- Ensure timely, accurate financial reporting aligned with business requirements.
- Propose data-driven solutions to improve operational and financial outcomes.
4. Continuous Learning & Improvement
- Stay current with company products, industry best practices, and internal processes.
