Job Description
1. Supplier Quality Programs:
Developing, implementing, and managing quality improvement plans with vendors to address quality issues and enhance overall performance.
2. Quality Assurance:
Overseeing quality assurance processes throughout the product lifecycle, including trend analysis, inspection, and adherence to quality standards.
3. Manufacturing & Process Improvement: Collaborating with vendors to improve manufacturing techniques and ensure that production processes meet company' quality and compliance requirements.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Working with internal teams and external suppliers to achieve quality objectives and resolve any issues that arise.
5. Industry Experience:
The role requires a strong background in the apparel and fashion industry, including knowledge of materials, production, and quality systems relevant to footwear and other goods.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
5 years in quality assurance/control, with 3 years focused on vendor or supplier management.
Proficiency in quality methodologies (Six Sigma Green/Black Belt, Lean, 8D, 5 Whys).
Experience with quality tools (SPC, FMEA, APQP, PPAP) and ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
Strong analytical skills (Excel, Minitab, Power BI) to interpret data and drive decisions.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building abilities.
