Job Description

Job Summary:
The Transformation Director for Commercial Banking will drive the design and execution of strategic initiatives aimed at transforming the bank’s commercial banking operations. The role involves leading cross-functional projects to enhance customer experience, digitalize products and services, optimize processes, and deliver commercial impact.
Acting as a key change agent, the Transformation Director will work with senior stakeholders across business lines, technology, risk, and operations to align transformation goals with business priorities and regulatory requirements. The role ensures initiatives are delivered on time, within budget, and to expected outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Transformation Leadership:
• Develop and execute a comprehensive transformation roadmap for the Commercial Banking segment.
• Align transformation initiatives with overall business strategy and growth goals.
• Identify and prioritize digital and process optimization opportunities that drive revenue growth, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
Program & Project Management:
• Lead end-to-end delivery of major transformation programs, from concept through execution to post-implementation review.
• Define success metrics, track performance, and manage risks across initiatives.
• Apply agile and/or traditional project management methodologies as appropriate.
Business Process Reengineering:
• Redesign key commercial banking processes to improve speed, accuracy, and scalability.
• Leverage technology to automate workflows and reduce manual interventions.
Stakeholder Engagement & Change Management:
• Act as the primary transformation liaison for Commercial Banking leadership.
• Build buy-in and alignment from senior management and frontline teams.
• Design and execute change management strategies to ensure sustainable adoption of new processes and systems.
Technology & Digital Enablement:
• Collaborate with Digital, IT, and Data teams to roll out next-gen digital capabilities (e.g., CRM, analytics, self-service platforms).
• Ensure transformation solutions meet regulatory and cybersecurity standards.
Financial & Operational Impact:
• Drive cost optimization, process improvements, and customer impact initiatives.
• Track and report on financial benefits and ROI of transformation programs.
Team Leadership & Talent Development:
• Lead a high-performing transformation team and manage cross-functional squads.
• Coach team members and build internal transformation capabilities.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or related field (Master’s or MBA preferred).
• 12 years of experience in banking, consulting, or corporate transformation, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Deep understanding of Commercial Banking products, services, and operations.
• Proven success in leading large-scale transformation programs or digital initiatives.
• Strong project management expertise; PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or Lean Six Sigma certification preferred.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with financial modeling, business case development, and KPI tracking.
• Fluent in English
