Position Overview
• We are seeking an experienced accounting professional to take ownership of the company’s financial record-keeping, compliance, and reporting in alignment with local regulations and internal policies. The role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to ensure seamless financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Maintain full and accurate financial records in compliance with Vietnamese accounting regulations and internal company standards.
• Record, review, and analyse financial data, including asset, liability, and equity accounts, ensuring timely and accurate journal entries.
• Prepare monthly and annual financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements, and other financial reports to provide management insights.
• Support financial audits by maintaining appropriate documentation and verifying transaction accuracy.
• Review and reconcile discrepancies in accounting records and recommend necessary corrective actions.
• Contribute to the enhancement of accounting procedures by drafting and proposing updated policies to strengthen internal controls.
• Perform day-to-day accounting tasks such as managing bank transactions, processing payments, handling accounts receivable and payable, issuing VAT invoices, and entering data into accounting software.
• Liaise with internal teams, affiliate factories, and corporate audit teams, as well as external auditors and regulatory bodies.
• Participate in ad hoc assignments and responsibilities as delegated by management.
Documents financial transactions by entering account information.
Recommends financial actions by analysing accounting options.
Summarizes current financial status by collecting information, preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports.
Substantiates financial transactions by auditing documents.
Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analysing account information.
Secures financial information by completing data base backups
Performs the job in the accounting department as: following and checking on bank transaction, payment transfer, receivable and payable; issuing VAT invoice; and input data into accounting software.
Coordinates with other departments, other factories/member companies Group internal audit and external parties.
Other tasks assigned by the manager.
Job Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in accounting, ideally within foreign-invested enterprises.
• Prior exposure to the construction industry or similar sectors is advantageous.
• Familiar with accounting software, especially Bravo; ability to adapt quickly to other financial systems.
• Solid understanding of Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS) and current tax legislation.
• Strong proficiency in English for both written and verbal communication.
• Certification as Chief Accountant is a plus.
