Head of Development - Airport

WORK OBJECTIVES
To provide visionary leadership and overall strategic direction for the entire airport infrastructure project, ensuring the successful delivery of all project components within scope, schedule, and budget, aligning with organizational goals, stakeholder expectations, and regulatory requirements, while fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and safety
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Strategic Leadership: Ensure the airport's development aligns with its vision and long-term strategy to become a world-class airport, while effectively balancing stakeholder interests and future growth objectives
• Governance and Oversight: Establish robust governance frameworks and performance metrics to monitor project progress, financial health, risk management, and compliance with legal and international aviation regulatory standards
• Resource Allocation: Oversee the allocation of financial, human, and technical resources across all project functions to maximize efficiency and achieve project milestones
• Risk and Crisis Management: Lead project-wide risk identification, mitigation, and contingency planning: take decisive action during crises to protect project integrity
• Organizational Development: Build and nurture a high-performing leadership team, fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement throughout the project
• Financial Stewardship: Approve budgets, monitor expenditures, and ensure financial discipline to deliver the project within approved cost frameworks
• Innovation and Sustainability: Drive the adoption of innovative technologies and sustainable practices that enhance project outcomes and future-proof airport infrastructure
