TECHNICAL SERVICE ENGINEER – F&B manufacturing

Responsibilities:
• Assist in the installation and commissioning at customer plants.
• Respond to and resolve equipment breakdowns and technical issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Perform routine maintenance and service tasks on equipment according to customer maintenance contracts, and report on activities.
• Support in promoting and recommending service contracts and spare parts to customers.
• Conduct equipment inspections and audits in collaboration with the sales or application departments, ensuring optimal machine settings.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers to support the expansion of the service and equipment business.
• Identify and recommend necessary spare parts for customer equipment, and monitor stock levels to address any gaps.
• Prepare and maintain accurate service reports for all work performed and update records related to customer equipment.
• Provide feedback and suggestions to the engineering department for potential equipment improvements based on field experience.

Job Requirements

Requirements:
• Technical diploma or vocational training in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in a technician role, preferably in food and beverage equipment maintenance or a similar field.
• Knowledge or certification in electrical or automation systems is a plus.
• Experienced in a technical, manufacturing, or service-based environment, preferably in the food and beverage industry.
• Good experience in equipment installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting, particularly with automated systems.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), AutoCAD.
• Good communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and internal team.
• English skills is at average level.
• Proactive, logical thinking and ability to work independently at customer sites.
• Customer orientation mindset.
• Willingness to travel frequently and work away from home.
