Purpose of the role:
To manage the nationwide sales team to increase market share, boost sales volume, and grow revenue for the company. Ensure the sales team operates effectively to meet and exceed sales targets by developing appropriate sales strategies, expanding distribution channels, and maintaining strong, sustainable customer relationships. Additionally, drive the development of the team’s capabilities, motivate staff, and foster a positive working environment to achieve optimal business results.
Responsibilities
• Develop and implement commercial strategies that align with the company’s goals and objectives in the business sector.
• Set sales targets, market share, and profit objectives for the sales team to achieve budgeted volumes and margins.
• Manage pricing policies and promotional programs to optimize profitability and competitiveness.
• Oversee effective debt collection processes and collaborate with relevant departments to minimize financial risks.
• Analyze sales data and market trends to identify growth opportunities and adjust plans accordingly.
• Manage inventory levels to balance supply with market demand, minimizing excess stock.
• Identify and pursue new customer acquisition and channel expansion, focusing on B2C and B2B customers.
• Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing customers to ensure ongoing business growth.
• Establish performance goals for the sales team and continuously monitor their progress.
• Lead, coach, and develop the sales team to maximize productivity and professional growth.
• Foster a dynamic, results-driven, and professional working culture.
• Lead the team responsible for prospecting and developing new customers.
• Work closely with Marketing, Customer Service, Logistics, and other departments to support commercial activities.
• Provide consultancy and support to other functions regarding sales and market insights.
