Job Description

Responsible for ensuring the effective execution of the factory’s manufacturing plan while meeting Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, and People (SQCDP) standards. This role drives operational excellence, continuous improvement, and team development to achieve production goals and long-term business success.

Key Responsibilities

Production Management:
Plan, direct, and coordinate factory equipment and workforce to ensure smooth production flow and on-time delivery.

Cost Control:
Manage and control production costs within the approved budget.

Quality, Safety & Environment:
Ensure compliance with all quality, safety, and environmental standards and maintain a safe, hazard-free workplace.

Cross-Department Coordination:
Collaborate with SCM, TQM, HR, and ESH teams to address issues such as quality deviations, material shortages, equipment downtime, capacity gaps, or schedule changes.

Workforce Management & Development:
Build and maintain high morale across teams; foster a positive work environment that encourages ownership and accountability.
Develop and mentor supervisors and line leaders; identify skill gaps and implement targeted training programs.

Process & Continuous Improvement:
Drive initiatives to enhance efficiency, productivity, and quality through process optimization and Lean manufacturing practices.

Performance Management:
Review team performance, set clear goals, and develop improvement plans for direct reports.

Environmental Compliance:
Ensure factory operations comply with all relevant environmental laws and regulations.

Job Requirements

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related field.

Experience:

Minimum 5 years of managerial experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.

Strong technical knowledge of welding, metal forming, surface pre-treatment, powder coating, and fabrication techniques.

Proven ability to lead and manage teams of 50 employees.

Results-oriented with a hands-on, problem-solving mindset.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across all levels.

Solid analytical and decision-making ability.

Experience implementing Lean Manufacturing or similar efficiency systems.
