Job Description

Navigos Search's client is a FDI company looking for a position of legal assistant manager with main responsibility as below:
- Work & report directly to General Director
- Legal Document Management:
Prepare, review, and manage all legal documents related to the company’s operations.
Monitor and update internal stakeholders on changes in relevant legal regulations, especially in the fields of environmental protection, chemical, taxation and construction.
Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, reducing legal risks for the company.
- Liaison with External Legal Consultants:
Act as the main point of contact between the company and external legal advisors.
Coordinate and manage communications to address legal issues efficiently and effectively.
Compile, track, and report the progress of legal matters to management.
- Legal Support for Overseas Branch:
Research and stay updated on local laws and regulations in Bangladesh that impact the company’s operations.
Provide legal support and guidance to the branch to ensure compliance with local legal requirements.
- Internal Legal Consultation:
Provide internal legal consultation and advice to relevant departments on regulatory requirements.
Support contract negotiations, drafting, and reviewing to safeguard the company’s interests.
Assist in managing legal disputes and litigation matters.
- Regulatory Compliance:
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure adherence to new and existing laws related to environmental and construction practices.
Assist in implementing strategies to maintain compliance with legal standards and minimize exposure to risks.

Job Requirements

- Male/female with bachelor’s degree in Law.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in legal roles.
- Experience in water treatment, environmental, or construction sectors is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of Vietnamese legal regulations related to environmental protection, construction, and foreign investment.
- Familiarity with international laws and regulations applicable to the company’s operations.
- Excellent legal drafting and review skills.
- Proficiency in English is mandatory, especially in legal communication and documentation.
- Ability to work with international partners and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High sense of responsibility, integrity, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
